Hi, my name is Lisa Buie. I am originally from Saint Pauls North Carolina born and raised. I Adventure out to a bigger city in 1997 when I moved to Chesapeake, Virginia . I started out with my journey doing foster care for children with developmental disabilities. I am a proud mother of four children including my adopted son Troy. He was adopted at the age of 5 and now he 16 years of age. He was born with developmental disabilities and assisted with gaining tools I didn’t know I had. I was then compelled to open a developmental disability group home and a day program for adults with developmental disabilities similar to his. I am grateful for all of the lives I have been able to impact and will continue doing so with ethics and values that will bear fruit in due time.
